One of my favorite finds on this trip was this antique victorian ring I picked up at A Detacher in Nolita (I wish I had a better photo that would do this ring justice). I came across something similar in London ages ago, but couldnt afford one back then. This ring ended up being one of my early birthday presents from my mr mink kid. The shop stocks their own clothing line as well as little curiosities from all over the place. They have a vintage teapot with a matching sugar bowl that I am obsessed with. But it isn't for sale, of course.

I have recently come to acquire a taste for all things exotics. And this black croco deadstock vintage Chanel clutch at Decades has definitely been haunting me for the past couple of days. You just can't go wrong with this..

This was the year of 1956, when Grace Kelly was photographed getting out of a car covering a baby bump with an Hermes Kelly. It made the cover of Time Magazine and pretty much the rest is history..

This image is marking an end to a 5 year wait for me. Lets just say its a vintage piece from the 1960s..(thanks to Cameron and his team at Decades!) Can you just imagine the stories and the history it has gone through? Crazy... Which is what I truly love about them really :)

Just in! I've been eyeing these ever since La Garconne featured a label called Rose on their site couple weeks back. Satine Boutique had them in blue but sold out most of them as soon as they were listed up. While the price tag might break your budget, or your bank account for that matter, this dress is absolutely archive worthy. What's not to love about it, its chic, elegant, cool and most of all it will be something you will be able to wear forever. And if stretching the wallet isn't possible this month, settle for the capelet, it's just as adorable.

Alaia

A new addition to my Alaia collection, waiting to be picked up at Browns in London when I'm there next week. I got the bigger piece, more similar to the one Mary-Kate has been sporting but with the studs. Last it was listed on ebay, someone bid on it for $8000. No joke.
